Bulletin Publication

The bulletin is the chief form of communication within our parish community. It is published weekly and distributed at all weekend Masses. The bulletin contains various schedules, Mass information, and announcements about parish organisations, activities and ministries, and about events in the Catholic community. It also includes a weekly reflection on a Gospel passage. The Parish Office and a team of volunteers prepare the bulletin. Bulletin announcements must be submitted in writing or emailed to the Parish Office for the approval of the Parish Priest no later than 1pm on Wednesday.

Contact: Parish Office Ph: 85220300 The parish is always looking for people who have talent in taking digital pictures or digital video. We also need assistance with enhancing our parish church displays through the use of video, desktop and PowerPoint publishing.
Parish Pastoral Council
Chairperson: Frances Schembri Mission: The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to provide Counsel and Support to the Parish Priest and encourage parishioners to undertake their due ministry in the parish according to the spirit of the Vatican II decree ‘Lumen Gentium'. It is made up of representatives from various ministry groups and working groups in the parish. In addition to the representatives of the various ministry groups and working groups, the Parish Priest may also nominate other persons to the Council, should he desire. Members of the Parish Council, being practising Catholics, uphold the Catholic ethos. The Council is to discern the pastoral developments and working of the Parish according to the Vision and Mission statement adopted by the Parish.
Members of the Pastoral Council: Parish priest, Assistant Priest, Pastoral Associate, Principals of the parish Primary Schools, and nominated representatives of various ministry groups in the parish.
Parish Finance Committee
Contact: Parish Office Ph: 85220300 The members of the Finance Committee are parishioners with expertise in finance and administration. The Parish Priest appoints members and the committee helps the Parish Priest in the administration of the goods of the parish. The primary responsibilities are to oversee parish financial budget matters, the handling of investments and the expenditure of parish funds and maintenance. Maintenance
Properties of the parish include three churches, parish centre, priests' residence, the two primary schools, the Thornton hall, and associated properties. For the maintenance of the schools the parish priest takes advice from the Catholic Education Office. The parish has developed a ten year maintenance program for the maintenance of all other parish properties.
